Note:
1. This app uses the phone's bulit in text to speech engine.
U can change the language the time is announced by going to the Text to Speech Settings, for example :
Samsung: "Settings" > "Accessibility" > "Text-to-speech">"Language"
Xiaomi: "Settings" > "Additional Settings > "Language and Input" > "Text-to-speech output"> "Google Text to Speech Engine" > "Language"
2. For certain phone brands & models like Xiaomi, you will need to give permission for this app to 'autostart,' otherwise the recurring alarms will not ring when u switch your phone off and on again. For Xiaomi , go to "Settings" > "installed apps" > "WAKUPLA Speaking Alarm" , then turn on 'autostart'.
3. If you use Taskmanager apps such as "Advanced Task Killer" , please put "WAKUPLA Speaking Alarm " app on the exclusion list (put the app on the white list or ignore list). This is because, task manager tools can stop the alarm service used by "WAKUPLA Speaking Alarm " and make it inoperable.
